Lita Rossana Ford or Lita Ford, as she's more commonly known, was an American-born British singer and guitarist who led the women-only hard rock band The Runaways during the late 1970s. The group did not have any fans in The United States. However, their fame grew internationally, particularly in Japan. The band broke up in 1979, Ford began a successful solo career with heavy metal. She began taking voice classes followed by her first album "Out for Blood", followed by "Dancin" in the Edge. Ford disappeared from rock for several years after the albums did not gain much popularity. The smash hit album "Lita" was released by Ford in the year 1988. the single 'Kiss me Deadly' and the ballad 'Close My Eyes Forever' were both major success. However, her success was only temporary and she was absent from the music industry for several decades. The resurgence of her career came with albums "Black" from 1995, and "Wicked Wonderland" nearly fifteen years later. The year was 2016, and her most recent album'Time Capsule' was released.
