Sharni Vison, a native of Australia and a actor and dancer was born on 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, she was cast in two episodes in Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The casting agent wanted to see her perform one of the leading roles. While she tried to play the part, she wasn't chosen. She was instead cast in the show in the role of Cassie Turner, a young disturbed girl within foster homes. The fans and critics loved her performance.
